Job Description

The Corradetti lab is seeking a self-motivated individual for a postdoctoral associate position within the Center for Precision Environmental Health (CPEH). Dr. Bruna Corradetti’s research program focuses on the development of biomimetic strategies for regenerative medicine applications. Among them, recently Dr. Corradetti’s team has developed an immunomodulatory patch and nanotherapeutics (i.e., exosomes and mimetics) able to re-activate the body’s own potential to heal. These materials will be tested for their capability to induce functional tissue repair in non-healing, degenerative wounds.

The postdoctoral associate will be involved in multidisciplinary research across immunomodulation, nanotechnology, genomics, tissue engineering, cell and molecular biology, and preclinical animal models. The individual will also incorporate cutting-edge microscopy techniques on instruments available in the CPEH including super-resolution microscopes. This position is ideal for an individual who has training in molecular biology, -omics techniques, and/or advanced microscopy techniques, and a thorough knowledge of statistical analysis. The position requires work with rodent animal models of chronic and degenerative disorders. The candidate will also contribute to grant and manuscript writing.
