Job Description
Summary
The postdoctoral fellow will work in one or both of the following two areas: 1) Investigate the synaptic mechanisms of cortical circuits in mice; 2) Study the dysfunctions of neural circuits in novel mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders. The postdoctoral fellow is also strongly encouraged to develop his/her independent research program in the general area of cortical circuit and neurodevelopmental disorder.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- Assists with manuscript preparation, grant writing, and supervision of junior lab members.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
