Job Description


A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Kheradmand Lab in the Department of Medicine at BCM. The lab is located at the main campus and is focused on the pathophysiology of smoking-related lung cancer. The postdoc would be expected to examine the molecular mechanism of non-small cell lung cancer using single cell RNA seq, QPCR, RNA ChIP-Seq, and other molecular techniques. 

Job Duties

  • Participates in research projects 
  • Helps the PI and team in research 
  • Conducts research experiments 
  • Evaluate, manage, and analyze research data

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • Experience Required: None Required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recent Ph.D degree with less than two year experience in post-doctoral training.
  • Prior first author publications in peer reviewed journals or under review.
  • PHD work related to human or mouse models of lung cancer.
  • Highly motivated to pursue an independent career in biomedical research. 
  • Excellent communication, time management and teamwork kills.
