Summary


A Postdoctoral research associate in Synthetic Organic/Medicinal Chemistry is available at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. The successful candidate is expected to have recently obtained PhD degree and a strong track record of publications in the field.

Job Duties

  • Designs and synthesizes compounds targeting biologically/pharmaceutically important proteins for chemical biology and drug discovery for cancer and infectious diseases. 
  • Trains in computational drug design, molecular biology and/or x-ray protein crystallography for career development. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
