Job Description
Summary
A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Rama Kommagani's lab at Baylor College of Medicine. The candidate will join a dynamic team to focus on gut microbiome and immune dysfunction in gynecological diseases.
Job Duties
- Participates in research projects and work with other members of laboratory.
- Designs and conducts experiments in areas of microbiome and endometriosis.
- Presents research findings at interdepartmental meetings and national conferences.
- Contributes to research proposals and grant applications.
- Records accurate research findings in a detailed up-to-date laboratory notebook.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates who received their doctoral degree less than a year ago are strongly preferred.
- Candidates with a clear interest in microbiome and inflammation research are strongly preferred.
- Candidates with a strong background in cell and molecular biology, and experience with handling and using rodent models are encouraged apply.
