Summary

The candidate will model human brain activity during language tasks, using techniques from nonlinear dynamics and statistic. They will develop theoretical methods and analyze neural data. They will collaborate with other theorists, linguists, and neurosurgeons to develop scientific ideas aimed at eventual translation applications.

Job Duties

  • Research about brain computations.
  • Performs mathematical derivations, literature review, computer programming, data analysis, data visualization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. required in quantitative discipline.
  • Experience with EEG, ECoG, or MEG data preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of linear algebra and multivariate statistics required.
