Innovative Postdoctoral Entrepreneurial Research Fellowship
Compensation: $78k (+ eligibility for $10k conference travel budget)
Location Somerville, MA
About Micro-Leads. Micro-Leads is a startup company developing high-resolution, bioelectronic stimulation medical devices and injectable electrodes to treat a variety of neurological diseases. Micro-Leads has developed high-precision miniature electrode technology and pulse-generators for early feasibility trials.
The Entrepreneurial Postdoc Fellowship is an outstanding opportunity for all neuromodulation, neuroscience, or medical device focused Postdocs to join the fast-paced Micro-Leads team. The post-doctoral fellowship will get the opportunity to continue R&D and publications, while also learning how to translate technologies into the commercial landscape. The post-doc should have a range of skills including:
• Design and manufacturing of precision electrodes
• Hands on experience with machining, laser cutting, assembly
• Development of new processes
• Simulations of electrode field models for optimal coupling or detection
• Perform pre-clinical and clinical testing
• Prepare posters, presentations, and manuscripts of devices and study results
We are seeking a highly motivated post-doc with outstanding technical design, who is hardworking, can manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and perform advanced R&D.
