Job Description

The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Fellow is to assist the Principal Investigator and other Faculty members with scientific research projects within the Department of Lymphoma/Myeloma. The primary activity of this position is with a team of cancer immunotherapy lab researchers.
Our research is focused on developing novel adoptive T-cell therapy approaches for both hematological malignancies and solid tumors. Candidate will be involved in developing and evaluating novel adoptive T-cell therapy strategies including CAR-T and TCR-T, and viral- and tumor antigen-specific T cells in both in vitro and in vivo models. Candidates should be self-motivated, career oriented, and should be capable of troubleshooting.
Applicants should be graduates with a Ph.D. in immunology/immunotherapy with experience in T-cell culture, assays to assess T-cell function, animal experiments with syngeneic or xenograft tumor models, and T cell biology. Experience in working with human immune and tumor cells, animal studies, retrovirus and/or lentiviral generation, molecular cloning, transduction of primary T cells, gene editing, and flow/mass cytometry is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multiple publications, and strong reference letters are required.
