Job Description

A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Florencia McAllister for highly motivated PhD or MD/PhD interested in building a career in Tumor Immunology.

The lab focuses on dissecting the role of the immune system in the development and progression of cancer. Projects in the lab involve the use of genetically engineered mouse models of cancer and orthotopic mouse models, as well as human samples. Projects involve discovery of novel immunotherapeutic strategies for cancer and mechanistic molecular studies regarding the role of bacteria in tumor modulation. The candidate must have a strong background and experience in tumor immunology and preferably also in molecular biology.

The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to conduct independent research, to present their results at departmental and national meetings, and to prepare manuscripts for publication.
